What this is
AEGIS SYSTEMS is a small workshop in Germany. It builds network devices that keep advertising and tracking out of a home network, alongside 3D printed parts and laser engraving. Everything is assembled, soldered, flashed and tested by hand before it ships.
Who is behind it
AEGIS SYSTEMS is Mohammad Saeed Angiz. Everything here is built, soldered, printed and programmed by one person, in Germany. The route here ran through electronics, 3D printing and software development, and it continues towards data analytics. Whoever commissions something speaks to the same person who then builds it.
What we hold to
No telemetry
The devices report to nobody. No manufacturer account, no forced cloud, no usage data leaving your network.
Open firmware
What a device does is in its firmware, and the firmware is open. You do not have to take our word for it, you can read it.
No subscription
Buy it once and it is yours. Nothing switches off after a year because a payment stopped.
Repairable
Standard components, screwed rather than glued, documented connectors. A device you cannot open is electronic waste on a delay.
The workshop
A 12 W diode laser for engraving and cutting wood, acrylic and leather. An ELEGOO Centauri Carbon 2 Combo, an enclosed printer for high temperatures and multicolour parts. A soldering station and programmers for the electronics. None of it is a factory, and that is exactly why single pieces are possible.
A side business, said plainly
AEGIS SYSTEMS is run as a registered side business alongside employment. That changes nothing about your rights as a customer, because the legal notice requirement, the right of withdrawal and the statutory warranty all apply in full. It does mean enquiries are handled in the evenings and at weekends, and a reply can occasionally take two working days.
