AEGIS SYSTEMS engraves wood, acrylic and metal in Germany: name plates, personalised gifts, labelling and short runs. Artwork is accepted as an image file, as text, or as a sketch. Every engraving is previewed and agreed before it is cut.

An engraving turns an ordinary object into a particular one: a tool with a name on it, a board with a date, a sign on a workshop door. The occasion does not have to be a big one, and single pieces are the normal case here.
How it works
Send the artwork
Text, a logo, a photograph or a sketch. Vector files are ideal but not required, and a photographed drawing is a fine starting point.
Choose the material
Wood, acrylic and coated metal each behave differently under the laser. What suits your design is settled beforehand.
Preview
You see placement and size before anything is engraved. An engraved workpiece cannot be undone, which is why this step exists.

- It depends on the material, the engraved area and the quantity. Send the design and the material and you get a fixed quote before anything is cut.
- Can I send my own object to be engraved?
- In many cases yes. Material and surface decide it. Send a photograph first so it is clear beforehand whether it will work.
- Will you engrave a single piece?
- Yes. There is no minimum order, and single pieces are actively welcome.
- What file formats do you need?
- Vector files such as SVG or PDF are ideal. PNG and JPG work too if the resolution is sufficient. Plain text is perfectly enough.
- How long does it take?
- Production starts as soon as your order is in the system. Nothing sits in a queue. Once the piece is finished it goes out for delivery. How long the making itself takes depends on the scope and is stated in the quote before you agree to it.
